Calabria Italy is a simply stunning area of Italy that has not been fully appreciated yet, the Italians know all about the region and holiday here in there ten of thousands every year to enjoy the sunshine, the beaches and the awesome scenery, a secret they like the keep to themselves. Calabria is starting to become better known and more foreign visitors are realising what a wonderful place it is. We want to show you at least a glimpse of what Calabria has to offer.

We have just added videos that give you a good idea of what Northern Calabria is all about, they highlight the absolutely stunning scenery by the sea and in the mountain towns and villages of Calabria. Also these videos show the events and festivals held here, there are many festivals held over the summer months in this area we have selected a few to show you. Northern Calabria has so much to offer we just wanted you to have a feel 'the real Italy', we hope you enjoy watching the videos. There is so much to do if you are interested in history and culture there are some fabulous museums, monuments and churches our favourite church is set in the picturesque mountain village of Grisolia it is so ornate! a truly spectacular sight.

For the more energetic there is Paragliding and Scuba Diving in Praia a Mare off Dino Island, white water rafting on the River Lao in the Pollino National Park. Horse riding, tennis, skiing (in mid winter only) and windsurfing all available in the local area, there is also Acquafans one of the biggest waterparks in Italy. Northern Calabria really does have something to do for all ages and the climate is very mild in the winter and really warm during the summer, come and visit us in Calabria and see it for yourself.
